Jackson, 34, got his start before "Dawson's" in "Mighty Ducks" and appeared in "Cruel Intentions" and "Skulls" while on the show. Since 2008, he had starred in the sci-fi TV series "Fringe," which came to an end with its 100th episode on Jan. 18, 2013.
