Stallone’s biggest break came with “Rocky” in 1976. A screenwriter as well as an actor, Stallone wrote the film, which was inspired by a fight between Muhammad Ali and Chuck Wepner. “Rocky” won the Oscar for Best Picture, and ignited one of the most successful franchises in movie history.
