While the child stars whose careers fade seem to get most of the press, plenty of young actors have managed to stay successful into adulthood, including Jason Bateman, the star of this week's "Identity Thief."

Gosling earned an Academy Award nomination for 2006's "Half Nelson" and has an acting resume that includes the likes of "The Notebook," "Lars and the Real Girl," "Blue Valentine," "Crazy Stupid Love" and "Drive."
